Actually, one of the few pieces of Sen. Obama-sponsored legislation to actually pass the Senate vote (S. RES. 291 from the 109th Congress) was to congratulate the Good Guys on their World Series win. Go politics!

Sports-related political contributions
Reinsdorf is the only White Sox related person to give contributions to a presidential campaign...to McCain's campaign.
Across town, all of the Cubs related persons giving to a presidential campaign, which were Derrek Lee, his wife, and Mark O'Neal, all gave to Obama.
I'm not saying you have to change allegance, just show some love to the Cubs...
Showing love for the Cubs would take all the fun out of this blog!
