I've not been able to blog for several days due to work and school commitments, but I have found time to attend the first 5 of the Colts 6 games thus far. To tide you over until I get some time to write something, here are my pictures from those trips ...
Pregame at the Baggie Dome.
Right when things took a turn for the better. BTW, I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what "Skol Vikings" means. It's a Scandinavian thing, I guess.
The Lombardi Trophy carved into a tree across the way from Lambeau Field. This is how you know that they mean business in Green Bay. No other place in which I've been treats football the way they do in Green Bay. I'm jealous.
The frozen tundra of Lambeau Field.
The tailgate crew at the feet of Vince himself.
Paul Hornung's Heisman Trophy. Yes, that's his actual Heisman.
The club seating area at Lambeau (yes, we had club seats!).
Lots of lounging going on in the club area. But who can blame them? When surrounded by leather chairs, high definition televisions, Miller beer and Johnsonville brats, what else would you do?
This is the concourse to the club sections. Nice, eh?
Our view of the field.
A bunch of Colts fans gathered across the street (as seen from the club area). The A-frame house is a renovated full time rental house. Lambeau is right in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
Me and the father-in-law. He had the better day.
The only time Harrison saw pay dirt.
The only time Manning had open receivers.
Downtown Green Bay. Yeah, it's that small.
Kickoff ... when I still had hope.
Optimism was still high at this point as well.
In the second quarter, when things were about to take a turn for the worse.
2:00 minutes left in the game and every soul at Lambeau is still in their seat having a party at our expense.
Gotta love the Miller Atrium.
